Liverpool fans loved the moment Jude Bellingham joined Trent Alexander-Arnold in checking on the injured Jordan Henderson during England's clash with Wales.
The Three Lions secured a place in the round-of-16 thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win against Rob Page's side, Marcus Rashford's brilliant brace adding to Phil Foden's close-range finish. Victory took Gareth Southgate's side on to seven points and handed them a knockout tie against Senegal on Sunday, December 4.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp may have been given an early glimpse into his future midfield at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, with Henderson starting alongside Declan Rice and the long-admired Bellingham in a midfield trio. Alexander-Arnold started on the bench again as Southgate opted to start Kyle Walker - much to fans' frustration - but the Liverpool man managed just over 30 minutes in the second-half.

Shortly after the right-back came on, however, his club teammate Henderson was scythed down by a nasty challenge from Aaron Ramsey, and the Liverpool midfielder's blood-curdling scream no doubt worried Klopp and the Anfield faithful. But fans were seemingly very pleased to see Alexander-Arnold and, more excitingly, Bellingham race over to their England teammate to check on him.
