Bournemouth are considering reigniting their interest in Liverpool defender Nat Phillips after their manager Scott Parker questioned his centre-back options.
Phillips spent the second half of last season on loan at the Cherries and helped them win promotion back to the Premier League.
Liverpool had been anticipating an offer of a permanent transfer for the 25-year-old having set an asking price of between £12million and £15m, only for concrete interest from a number of interested parties to have not yet been forthcoming.

The Reds were open to the possibility of another temporary departure for Phillips, who signed a four-year deal at Anfield last summer. But they would prefer a permanent exit with Parker urging the Bournemouth board to consider reviving interest amid a lack of options at the heart of his defence.
"We’ve lost Gary Cahill, we’ve lost Nat Phillips," said Parker. "We have three centre-halves in the building. At this moment we need some in that area."
Phillips has only been intermittently involved during Liverpool's pre-season and was restricted to just three senior appearances last season for the Reds.
