Jurgen Klopp has named an unchanged side to the one that beat Bournemouth 9-0 on Saturday for Newcastle's visit to Anfield this evening.
Alisson starts between the sticks as Andy Robertson keeps his place at left-back, while the other members of the Reds' defence who helped secure a first clean sheet of the season also keep their places.
Despite impressing during the second-half of the Reds' thrashing on Saturday, 20-year-old Fabio Carvalho is made to wait for his first Premier League start for his new club as Harvey Elliott keeps his place, overcoming a fitness scare from the weekend's action. He starts alongside Jordan Henderson and Fabinho.
