Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has called for the introduction of a coach's challenge in football after a controversial decision in Borussia Dortmund's draw with Bochum last Friday.
Klopp is in hot water with the FA for his comments towards referee Paul Tierney after Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-3 on Sunday afternoon at Anfield. The German was angered by some of the decisions made in the game.
The former Dortmund boss has been formally charged by the FA and is awaiting his punishment with calls being made by ex-referees and players for a 'lengthy ban'.

Speaking to German football magazine Kicker, the Reds manager was keen on the idea of introducing challenges into football: "A challenge would be a solution to avoid something like that happening again in the future," Klopp said as he called it "an interesting idea for football."
"There are many good examples of how this can work. In field hockey, for instance, the challenge has long proven its worth."
Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi was fouled in the box against Bochum, but a penalty was not awarded. Klopp said he "no longer understood the world" after seeing the challenge and knowing a spot kick was not awarded.
