The Packers took the lead right back from the Seahawks. Nate McCrary found the end zone from two yards out to give the Packers a three-point lead, and Anders Carlson nailed the extra point to extend the advantage to 19-15 with 1:56 left. Can the Packers finish it off on defense? The big play on the scoring drive was a 52-yard completion from Alex McGough to Jadakiss Bonds, and Bonds later found Cody Chrest for a key third-down conversion.
Big play alert!

Alex McGough’s completion Jadakis Bonds for 52 yards has the Packers in range of taking the lead in the fourth quarter. Beautiful deep ball from McGough and a nice job from Bonds creating late separation and tracking the ball in.

The Seahawks took the lead with an 89-yard touchdown drive in the fourth quarter and then extended the lead to three with the two-point conversion. The second half has been a mostly lifeless performance from the Packers. Can Matt LaFleur’s team get in the end zone and finish the preseason on a high note?
Injury for Sean Clifford

Alex McGough is now in.

Sean Clifford suffered a right arm injury and was replaced by third-stringer Alex McGough to start the fourth quarter.
Another rookie standing out
Rookie edge rusher Brenton Cox delivered a tackle for loss and a batted pass during the third quarter. He’s really stood out during preseason games and could be inching closer to a 53-man roster spot.
Jordan Love's day

Love led the Packers to scoring drives on three possessions. One of his nine completions went to himself on a batted pass. His touchdown pass went to Christian Watson to finish off the final Love-led possession.
Brooks makes a play again
#Packers rookie Karl Brooks continuing to have a presence in his first preseason. Just rushed up the middle and batted Drew Lock's pass in the backfield, Dikembe style.

The rookie defensive lineman continues to make plays. He batted a Drew Lock pass in the third quarter on Saturday.

After a penalty, kicker Anders Carlson came on the field and drilled a 57-yard field goal right before the half. The rookie connected on both field goal attempts in the first half. Patience paying off?

The Seahawks are on the board after Innis Gaines gave up a touchdown pass to Jake Bobo with 2:46 left in the second quarter. Bobo ran away from Gaines on a crosser and made the catch in the end zone. Gaines is competing to make the team as a backup slot corner.

An 80-yard drive from Jordan Love on his third possession ended with a touchdown pass to Christian Watson on a back-shoulder throw. Love hit Luke Musgrave, Patrick Taylor and Malik Heath for first downs. Anders Carlson’s PAT was blocked by the Seahawks. Love led a touchdown drive in all three of his preseason appearances.

A disjointed first drive for Jordan Love stalled on an incompletion on 3rd-and-10, setting up a 43-yard field goal attempt. Rookie kicker Anders Carlson nailed it, right down the middle. The Packers lead 3-0 with 10 minutes left in the first quarter. The drive went 50 yards on 11 plays. Love scrambled twice for first downs.
Heath starts at WR
Rookie Malik Heath started in place of Romeo Doubs at receiver. He is looking like a roster lock. Of course, on the first snap, Heath jumped offsides.

Jordan Love will start at quarterback for the Packers. It’s unclear how long he’ll play; Love got two series against the Bengals and three against the Patriots.
No David Bakhtiari
Rasheed Walker, Elgton Jenkins, Josh Myers, Jon Runyan and Zach Tom the starting five in warm-ups.
— Bill Huber (@BillHuberNFL) August 26, 2023
David Bakhtiari won’t play, so the offensive line features Rasheed Walker at left tackle, Josh Myers at center and Zach Tom at right tackle. It will be interesting to see if Walker gets any snaps at right tackle or Tom gets any snaps at center on Saturday.
