ghd Chronos Styler: was £239, now £169.99 (save £69.01)

The cult brand's most recent take on a heat styling tool, this swiftly became one of the best hair straighteners on the market as soon as it hit shelves earlier this year. The lightweight tool is easy to use and straightens even thick and frizzy hair in minutes, leaving it with a salonesque smoothness and healthy-looking shine.

With smooth, rounded edges, it curls and waves hair easily too, without any kinks left behind - making this multi-use tool one of the best ghd straighteners we've tried.

At such a high price point, it's not the most attainable tool to splash out on, but it's an everyday staple for me - so as soon as I saw the discount, I told my friends to snap it up immediately.

Make sure to check the seller when you shop

With the many listings available on Amazon, it’s incredibly important to check the legitimacy and authenticity of the seller of which you’re buying from. Whether you’re purchasing your go-to beauty product under £10 or you’re splurging on one of the best hair tools, you want to know you’re investing in the real deal before you part ways with your money.

The easiest way to check the seller of each product is by checking two things on its listing page. First, double check whether there is a visible image of the brand’s logo at the top of the page, if so, this will click through to the legitimate brand’s homepage on Amazon. Secondly, you can also look for the light blue text that sits just below the name of the product, if it says ‘Visit the [insert brand name] store’, this link should also click through to the verified brand’s page. Happy (and safe) shopping!

Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa '68 fragrance mist: was £38 now £28.50 (save £9.50)

The cult Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 has been my go-to perfume ever since I first smelt it way back in 2017. But, Sol de Janeiro's famous affordable Cheirosa '68 body mist is just as essential in my routine as its luxury inspiration.

With its delicious blend of fruits and florals that are grounded in a soft musky vanilla base, it really captures the woody sweetness of the expensive Maison Francis Kurkdjian icon. And while it's definitely not a replacement for the smooth and sophisticated scent, I find that it does help to accentuate the overall scent impression when I mist it over my clothes. Plus it's good for those work-from-home days when you want a little boost but don't want to waste the good stuff.

Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm: Was £48 Now £35.19 at Amazon (save £12.81)

There’s a reason why Elemis’ range of Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balms are widely loved. But the reason I specifically fell in love with the product is for its ability to provide a deep cleanse in a soothing and gentle way, that won’t upset my sensitive skin. Not just that, but massaging its indulgent texture into your skin boasts a spa-like experience from the comfort of your own bathroom.

I find it effectively removes makeup (especially stubborn waterproof mascaras, without having to tug at my eyelashes), leftover sunscreen or general daily grime, whilst also softening the skin as it goes - basically doing multiple jobs in one. Compared to other cleansers which strip the moisture from my skin, this balm leaves my complexion feeling clean yet hydrated thanks to its infusion of English Rose Oleo Extract, superhero algae and nourishing plant oils, encouraging supple skin with a hydrated glow. It does, however, usually sport a somewhat hefty price tag, which is why I’m stocking up whilst it has 27% off.

Whether you're on the hunt for one of the best hair straighteners or the best curling iron, Amazon Prime Day is a great opportunity to snag a new hair tool whilst making a significant saving. Many big names, such as ghd and Shark, have reduced the price tags of some of their best-selling products for just 48 hours. So, if you've been debating trading in your trusty hair tool for a newer version or perhaps you're looking for a quality styler to add to your haircare arsenal, take this as your sign.

Invest in Gift Sets

We’re always looking for innovative ways to save money on beauty, especially when it comes to sale days, but one trick we’ve found to be particularly handy is investing in gift sets. No, we’re not saying you have to start your Christmas shopping this early, beauty sets are actually a great way to get more bang for your buck as they arrive with multiple products to try.

It’s also a great idea if you’re unsure on what products to invest in or if they’ll even work for you, as gift sets give you the opportunity to trial a range of mini products before you decide whether or not to buy the full-sized version. Take it from me, I’ve used many gift sets over the years and discovered many products that I fell in love with and went on to repurchase, whilst I found others that simply didn’t work for me. This trick is especially useful when it comes to pricier, high-end products that require a splurge, as you want to know that you’re definitely going to love the product before you part ways with your money.

We’ve found savings on skincare gift sets that offer the ‘try before you buy’ experience - from the likes of Neal's Yard Remedies, Murad and Q+A.

Revlon Professional UniqONE Hair Treatment: Was £18.47 Now £6.95 at Amazon (save £11.52)

If, like mine, your goal is to achieve luscious locks but in a fuss-free and mess-free manner, let me introduce you to this Revlon leave-in conditioner, which has become a go-to in my haircare routine. My strands have the tendency to become quite knotty and difficult to brush through when wet - which, in turn, makes the styling process challenging. That’s where this Revlon mist comes into play, its moisturising formula works to hydrate dry, damaged and frizzy hair for a silky, soft and shiny finish - all which I can verify to be true. What’s more, its comforting scent leaves you feeling as though you have just stepped out of the salon, taking the experience to the next level. With a huge 62% off for Prime Day, and after taking its rightful place amongst the best hair styling products, there’s no doubt that this product is making its way into my basket.

From the best cleansers to high-performing serums and creams, Amazon Prime Day is a good chance to replenish your skincare routine for less. Names like CeraVe, Garnier and Paula's Choice (to name just a few) have already featured in this year's sales. In other words, should you be running low on one of your favourites, now is the time to stock up.

AESTURA ATOBARRIER365 Cream: Was £25.99 Now £18.19 at Amazon (save £7.80)

If you like to have the latest skincare launches on your radar, let me introduce you to AESTURA, an incredibly trusted Korean brand that's just landed in the UK. Rooted in dermatological science, according to the brand its products are used in 80% of Korean hospitals – which I'm sure you'll agree already sounds very promising. With its key patented ingredient, DermaON®, which mimics the skin's makeup to help moisturise its barrier, the ATOBARRIER365 Cream promises to help hydrate the skin for up to 120 hours.

Despite having facial skin that is quite oily, I do experience occasional dry patches. But I also have eczema – which has kindly flared up in the past few weeks – so I've been testing this gentle formula (designed with sensitive skin in mind) for a few days now in a bid to soothe and nourish it. It's lovely and softening, moisturising dry areas well, and I have a feeling it's going to become a more regular feature in my skincare routine long term. If you're in the market for a new dermatology-backed moisturiser, my first impressions are that this one is worth snapping up while there's a Prime Day discount to be had.

Save on alternative fragrance formats

Ask any beauty or shopping expert and they'll tell you that, if you can't stretch to the price tag of a specific perfume that you really love, opting for other formats of that scent is often a more affordable way to get your hands on it. Many popular perfumes come in other scented formulations, too – such as hair mists and body washes, creams and the best scented body lotions

Not only that, but some of these options can also rightly call themselves multipurpose beauty products. A gorgeously scented body lotion won't just impart your favourite fragrance on your skin, it will nourish it, too. What's more, layering up different formats of the same scent will help to supercharge your perfume's lasting powers and will likely mean you won't feel the need to top up your fragrance as much – a great tip for those who want to know how to make a perfume last longer

Take one of my favourite affordable fragrances, Caudalie's Thé des Vignes, for example. This scent also comes in shower gel and body lotion forms – both of which are currently discounted by at least 20% in the Amazon Prime Day sale.

Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Over Makeup Mist SPF 50+: Was £13 Now £5.48 at Amazon (save £7.52)

Most skincare enthusiasts know and live by the importance of applying one of the best facial sunscreens as part of their skincare routine, but in my experience people aren't don't follow the "reapply every two hours" part quite so religiously (unless it's very sunny and they're in direct sunlight). This great mist from Garnier's Ambre Solaire range is a brilliant way around any over-makeup-SPF-application conundrums. Lightweight and slightly cooling, you can generously spray this high-factor formula all over your face without worrying about disturbing your makeup – not to mention you can bag a 58% saving on this summertime staple at Amazon today. I think the phrase handbag essential is rather over-used, but hey, if the shoe fits...

Farmacy 10% Niacinamide Night Mask: was £23 now £18.40 at Amazon (save £4.60)

Unlike most face masks that require you to marinate your skin in the formula for up to 20 minutes before washing it off, this niacinamide-infused treatment from Farmacy is refreshingly low-maintenance. You simply apply it as a last step to your nighttime routine and go to bed - no rinse required - which I found actually encouraged me to use it regularly.

As for its effects on my skin, after just one use my face felt smoother and more hydrated, even my pores appeared smaller and more refined thanks to its ultra-nourishing blend of 10% niacinamide, 3% panthenol (which works to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier) and antioxidant-rich blueberry seed oil. A little also goes a long way with this purple, gel-like cream as it quickly saturates your skin in a buttery glaze of hydration. I reach for it every time my skin is feeling congested or a bit irritated and dry, to give it an extra boost.

While there are some incredible skincare and makeup deals to be had, we've also spotted several of our nailcare favourites getting the Prime Day treatment - with savings across brands like OPI, Essie and Sally Hansen. If you're a frequent manicure-getter yourself, be it BIAB nails or classic gels, investing in a good-quality cuticle oil or strengthener can do wonders for the health and longevity of your nail looks and right now, you can do so for less.

OUAI Rue St. Honoré EDP: was £52 now £41.60 (save £10.40) | Amazon

If you're in the market for a new signature - particulary of the floral fragrance description - Amazon has you covered with £10 off OUAI's popular Rue St. Honoré scent.

With delicate notes of gardenia and violet, combined with irresistible hints of musk, this chic blend is designed to transport you to the streets of Paris and for just £41, we'd say that's a worthy investment. Plus, it’s also worth noting that violet perfumes have been a trending pick this summer - so really, it’s a win-win.

Naomi here - now I bid you a fond farewell for the evening but don't worry, our beauty team will be back bright and early in the morning to bring you another day of exciting savings. See you then!

Q+A Oat Milk Cleanser: was £7.50 now £5.25 at Amazon (save £2.25)

Finding one of the best cleansers can be a tricky task if you have sensitive skin like mine, and you’re never sure on what is going to disrupt your complexion, so opting for a gentle product is a must. With a 98.8% natural and soothing formula, infused with a triple blend of organic oat milk and other oat-derived ingredients, this cleanser from Q+A does the job at kindly cleaning your skin of leftover makeup and impurities, whilst locking in your complexion’s moisture with vitamin E and ceramides. I always reach for this pick when I’m in need of some added moisture as it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and calm without stripping it of all its hydration, which is a huge plus in my books. With 30% off today, this cleanser will definitely be making an appearance in my Amazon basket.

Invest in multi-purpose products

Don’t get us wrong, we love a splurge, but we’re also super nifty when it comes to shopping for a beauty bargain - we get a certain thrill out of buying something for less than it’s worth (hence why we love Amazon Prime Day). But, one of the handiest tricks we’ve picked up over the years is investing in multi-purpose products - think using the best cream blush on both the apples of the cheeks and as a lip tint or blending the best bronzers around the perimeter of the face and as an eyeshadow on the eyelids. This is a great way to make the most out of your makeup bag as well as only investing in a select few quality products that can do more than one job. Getting more for our money and cutting our beauty bags in half? Sign us up.

While there are some great savings to be made on luxe skincare picks, if you're on the hunt for the best hair dryer, we've found great money-saving deals on some quality picks that are just waiting to be snapped up - across big brands such as ghd, Shark and BaByliss. So, why not save a few pennies on your next hair tool investment?

Tan Luxe THE FACE Self Tan Drops: was £36, now £21.59 (save £14.41) | Amazon

For a natural, sun-kissed summer glow, these clever self-tanning drops work to even your skin tone, cancel out redness and leave you with a radiant complexion. They’re super easy to use and totally customisable to achieve your desired tan, just add a couple drops into your daily moisturiser and let it work its magic. Plus, you can make a huge 40% saving across some of the brand's best-sellers in today’s sale - we'd say this is a worthy investment to your tanning routine.

When it comes to my hair washing routine, I've tried and tested an abundance of best shampoos for fine hair, and conditioners too, in order to find the one that just works. For context, I have fine hair (but lots of it) and my scalp tends to get oily quickly - I can typically only go two days before I have to wash it again. But, that all changed when I tried the Aveeno Clarify and Shine Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Conditioner.

I found this duo to work perfectly for my strands, targeting each of my hair issues in just one wash. Thanks to its clarifying capabilities, I waved goodbye to greasy hair as the shampoo got to work on my decongested scalp, leaving it feeling cleansed and soothed without completely stripping it of its moisture. As for the conditioner, this gentle product left my locks looking and feeling hydrated, soft and with a glossy shine. All in all, these are two products that I will never substitute in my hair washing regime, so I'm stocking up whilst they're on sale!

Digital Beauty Writer, Naomi signing on to guide you through an afternoon of super savings. I’ll be scouring Amazon’s deals to bring you the best prices across everything, from chic fragrances to the luxe skincare staples our team is planning to check out. For starters though, with the sun finally beginning to shine today, here are a few SPF essentials to consider…

While summer has been a tad disappointing (an understatement, we know) now is the time to invest in a new sunscreen and right now, Amazon is offering several tempting discounts on brands like Garnier, NIVEA and Elizabeth Arden...

Living Proof Full Dry Volume & Texture Spray: was £28 now £21.80 at Amazon (save £6.20)

As a lover of the '90s blowout, I want as much volume as I can get in my hair, which is naturally straight and prone to falling quite flat post-wash. To add bounce to my hair I swear by four things, the TRESemme Volume Lift Mousse (also discounted at Boots right now), the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer brush, some traditional velcro rollers and finally, Living Proof's Full Dry Volume Spray.

I use this as a last step, as its lightweight formula adds instant grab and texture to my strands, helping to lock my loosely curled layers (thanks to the rollers) in place and fortifying the volume I've gained from my hair dryer brush. It also provides heat protection up to 210° C, making it the perfect styling staple.

ghd Mini Styler Professional Ceramic Hair Straightener: was £149 now £102.99 (save £46.01) | Amazon

If you’ve got a holiday booked (first of all, we’re jealous), this mini styler from ghd doubles as the perfect travel companion - saving precious space in your luggage. As for the tool itself, don’t be fooled by its compact size. It can still deliver everything, from silky smooth styles to textured waves but is especially ideal for those with shorter hair and fringes. Its advanced ceramic heat technology evenly distributes heat across the plates at an optimal 185°C, meaning you’re still getting those salon-worthy results the brand is so renowned for, just packaged in a smaller, travel-friendly tool.

Search for bundles and the full sizes of your beauty staples

While there’s no shortage of savings to be found across all of our go-to brands, from Elemis to Garnier, one trick we’ve learnt with Amazon’s Prime Day events is to hold off on restocking our staples, or just buying the standard sizes, until we’ve checked to see if there are any multipacks and full-size options also available in the sale.

If you see your go-to moisturisers or cleansers included in the deals, for instance, chances are the next size up is also discounted - which could equate to better overall savings. Equally, a bundle of your beauty faves for the price of one (or for less than buying two would be, separately) is another great way to get a little extra bang for your buck this Prime Day - whilst also prolonging the need for your next restock.

So naturally, we’ve scoured Amazon’s vast array of discounts to find you some quick bargains on the likes of Elizabeth Arden, Redken and Kérastase...

While the evening of day two of Amazon's Prime Day event has arrived, there are still plenty of bargains to be found across luxury skincare, hair and makeup brands - several of which, we've pinned below, to make bagging the last-minute deals even easier...
