Billionaire Elon Musk should be worried if Democrats win back control of the House and the Senate, according to technology journalist and podcaster Kara Swisher. During an appearance on The Bulwark podcast, Swisher said Musk could face renewed investigations into his companies if Republicans lose control of Congress. She argued that Musk has benefited from Trump's presidency through government access and contracts. “If Donald Trump loses the House and the Senate, I would worry. I'd be worried if I were him,” Swisher said.
She added that Musk could face scrutiny from Congress, saying, “But Elon Musk is right up there for that. And so they're going to look at what he's done.” Swisher also suggested that Musk anticipates future consequences for his actions. “He has a very big sense of fate and I think it's coming for him and real hard,” she said.
