Listing Price Isn’t Guaranteed: Ronda Rousey sells horse estate for $912,500; sale highlights gap between asking and closing prices

A horse-oriented property gives you a little something that a normal suburban house can’t, which is space to be outside, privacy and a better connection to the surrounding countryside. A mountain property in Southern California provided that kind of escape from her public profession for former UFC champion and WWE star Ronda Rousey. Rousey purchased the 4.55-acre property in Running Springs, California, for $765,000 in June 2018. The house came back on the market in 2024, priced at $1.1 million until the asking price was cut to $999,999. The final sale price came in below the reduced asking price. Rousey bought the property in 2018 for $765,000, and it sold on October 7, 2024, for $912,500, roughly six years after her purchase. Although the sale price exceeded what she paid, the difference does not account for ownership costs, renovations or selling expenses.
