The Cleveland Browns are still without a first round pick for one more year after trading three away for quarterback Deshaun Watson. They do, however, still have seven picks at this point to play around with.
And even with a second round pick, general manager Andrew Berry has traded out of that selection in back-to-back seasons. Hitting on middle-round targets has helped Berry and the Browns build without a first round pick, landing the likes of cornerback Martin Emerson Jr., defensive end Alex Wright, and offensive tackle Dawand Jones in that range over the last two drafts.
The Browns will need him to do more of the same as the salary cap, while still extremely workable, is beginning to tighten up a bit around them. The Reese’s Senior Bowl has come and gone, and the NFL Scouting Combine is next week as the Browns have opportunities to identify future members of their team.
Here is every pick the Browns own in the upcoming draft as they look to continue to add young talent to their already competitive roster.
