Stanley Berryhill’s time on the Detroit Lions’ 53-man roster was a brief one. The Lions waived Berryhill on Monday, two days after signing the wideout to the active roster from the practice squad.
Berryhill played one snap on offense in Detroit’s win over Green Bay, as well as appearing in over half of the team’s kick and punt units.

The Lions have yet to make a corresponding move. Fullback Jason Cabinda being activated from the PUP list is certainly one possibility after the Lions began his 21-day activation clock last week. Cabinda has been out with a leg injury all season.
