Injured midfielder Jarrod Berry wouldn't have been able to forgive himself if he'd put his own feelings and ambitions ahead of Brisbane's bid for premiership success.
Berry made the selfless call to rule himself out of Saturday's decider against Geelong with a shoulder injury, and the Lions used the 27-year-old as a source of inspiration in the build-up to their 47-point win.
