It's been a while since we had a good old-fashioned 'curse' line for unimaginative football fans to trot out at will, and somehow we have Kim Kardashian of all people to thank for the situation.
Some of you will be old enough to remember classics like 'Aaron Ramsey goals kill people' or 'Gazza arrives with a fishing rod". If you're been on the internet for a really long time, you might even have been around for 'John Terry shows up to events in full kit'.
'What's next?' we hear you ask. If you hadn't already guessed, it's the Kim Kardashian curse, and it's one you'll want to get in on the ground floor of before it becomes tired. And internet trends get tired much more quickly these days.

Christophe Galtier's Parisiens had earned 35 points from a possible 39 at the Parc des Princes before Sunday's game against Rennes, while they won 16 and drew three on home soil under Mauricio Pochettino last term. The run had to end eventually, though, and goals from Karl Toko Ekambi and Arnaud Kalimuendo gave Rennes all three points.
PSG are still seven points clear of closest challengers Marseille, who beat Reims on Sunday night. If the curse is real, though, they might want to be worried ( it's not real - ed. )
"First the Drake curse now the Kim Kardashian curse!" one fan wrote on Twitter. Another observer, however, argued things went even deeper.
"Kim Kardashian is a undercover Ronaldo and Man Utd fan," the argument began. "She came to curse Arsenal so that they don't win the [Europa League]. She came to curse PSG so Messi looses and gets booed since she is a Ronaldo fan."
Where would we be without these detectives getting to the bottom of the stories making football tick? Surely the 'Kim Kardashian curse' special of your favourite true crime podcast is only a matter of weeks away.
