Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez has received praise from Lionel Messi and Roy Keane after he scored two goals to help Argentina reach the World Cup final.
Alvarez's brace, alongside a Messi penalty, saw Lionel Scaloni's side beat Croatia 3-0, booking their place in the showcase Sunday afternoon final.
Five minutes after Messi's first half spot kick, Alvarez went on surging run through the heart of the Croatian defence, which eventually culminated in him scoring a superb goal past Dominik Livakovic.
