Linwood two-car crash sees three rushed to hospital in Paisley for treatment

Linwood Paisley Royal Alexandra Hospital Glasgow Police

Three people have been rushed to hospital following a two-car crash in Renfrewshire.

Police were called to reports of the crash on Candren Road in Linwood around 4.10pm this afternoon.

Emergency services also attended and the trio were taken by ambulance to Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Their current condition is unknown.

Police confirmed news of the crash to Glasgow Live this evening.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police received reports of a two-car crash on Candren Road in Linwood around 4.10pm on Tuesday, 16 August, 2022. Emergency services attended and three people were taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.”
