Eddie Hearn has said that he looking forward to seeing American YouTuber Jake Paul getting 'chinned' when he next enters the ring. The 25-year-old is looking like he will finally enter the ring against Tyson Fury's younger brother Tommy in a fight said to be scheduled for August 13 this year.
A fight was set to take place between the two in December of last year, but it was cancelled with Fury citing a broken rib and chest infection as the reason. This has led to plenty of speculation as to whether or not we would see the pair enter the ring together, but after Fury's win against Daniel Bocianski at Wembley in April it appears that things are moving in the right direction for a fight to happen once more.
Jake Paul recently worked with Eddie Hearn in promoting Katie Taylor's win against Amanda Serrano in New York last month but the relationship appears to be a difficult one given Hearn's comments in recent days. Appearing to offer some insight regarding the fight's imminent confirmation the promoter spoke to TalkSport about the fight.

While appearing critical of Paul, he also described Tommy Fury as being a 'limited' fighter, saying: “I don’t represent them, but I hear that fight [Paul vs Fury] is happening August 13, so you might see it,” Hearn added. "Both are very limited, but as long as it’s a competitive fight, it doesn’t really matter.
“Jake Paul is a strange one, but I like what he’s doing for boxing. I did Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor with him and it was great fun, it was a big success..
“He’s putting the work in and he’s not terrible. But it’ll be a pleasant day when someone chins him.” This admission is something which could add some intrigue to a fight between two boxers with unbeaten records, albeit with uninspiring opposition for both.
Fury currently has an 8-0 record in the ring and ahead of his Wembley fight on the undercard of brother Tyson's World Championship win over Dillian Whyte he explained how his opponent that night would ' wipe the floor ' with Paul. This statement makes the fight even more interesting and fans can expect to see fireworks if the pair meet later this summer.
