A man was allegedly assaulted in his home and a vehicle was damaged in an incident last night.
Police were called after a man reportedly entered a house in the Dunmore Place area of Limavady and attacked a man inside. Damage was also allegedly caused to a vehicle outside.
It is understood to have happened at approximately 10.10pm on Thursday, May 18.

Detective Inspector Lavery said: “A man was at his home address when another male entered the property and assaulted him before leaving and causing damage to a vehicle outside the property.
“The male made off in the direction of Benevenagh Drive. Three people believed to have been involved in the incident were later arrested
“A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including aggravated burglary, attempted grievous bodily harm and criminal damage to a police vehicle and a 24-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, threats to damage property and possession of an offensive weapon.
“A 19-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault on police. They all remain in custody at this time.
“Our investigation is underway and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time the incident took place or who may have captured CCTV footage that can assist us to contact 101 quoting reference number 2299 18/05/23.”
