Lidl is pulling out all the stops this Christmas with a ‘Royal’ salmon centrepiece available from December 15 and priced at £9.99. The Deluxe ‘Royal Fillet’ can be served as a statement centrepiece or presented ‘buffet-style’; with guests invited to help themselves.
Made with Scottish smoked salmon each fillet is hand-prepared and finished to exacting standards by the award-winning St James Smokehouse; one of the country’s few remaining family-owned smokehouses. Seasoned with brown sugar and pure sea salt to draw out the fresh, natural flavours of the fish, each salmon is then cold smoked over oak chips before being finished with an edible gold lustre.
