Budget friendly supermarket Lidl has been named as the cheapest supermarket in The Grocer’s ‘Super Grocer 33’.
Beating all major supermarkets, the retailer has done it again by making the top spot and this time, beating competitors including Aldi.
The Grocer compares prices of items on shopping lists across the nation as part of the monthly analysis – from fresh produce, such as milk and grapes, to deodorant, and branded items including Cadbury Fruit & Nut and Hovis Bread.
