Lidl apologise to mum and daughter left 'humiliated' while buying sanitary items

Lidl has apologised to a mother and daughter who were apparently left "humiliated" while buying sanitary items.

It's claimed they were trying to buy several of the products when a male cashier loudly shouted in front of waiting customers that the number they could purchase was limited.

The incident is alleged to have happened in a branch of the supermarket in Somerset, England last weekend.
