Fears over Liam Williams' fitness for the Six Nations have been eased after the Wales full-back left the field with a facial injury.
Williams sustained the injury attempting to stop Johnny McNicholl scoring at the corner during Cardiff's home defeat to the Scarlets, taking a nasty bang to the face which forced him off for a head injury assessment.
But Cardiff director of rugby Dai Young doesn't believe Williams' injury will keep him out of action for long, which will relieve returning Wales head coach Warren Gatland with the Six Nations less than a month away.

"He came off with a HIA so it's a head injury," said Young. "To be honest I haven't really seen him in there. He's in the medical room but I don't think it's anything too much to worry about but I'd be a liar if I said I 100 per cent know where he is with it. These things happen in rugby."
Williams will be vying with Leigh Halfpenny to wear the Wales No. 15 jersey against Ireland in the opener on February 4. Scarlets man Halfpenny played a crucial role in his side's derby victory over Cardiff, kicking 13 points in the 28-22 victory.
Cardiff captain Josh Turnbull revealed Williams had received a black eye for his efforts. "He's got a black eye," said Turnbull when asked about Williams. "He'll be alright, he's a tough fella. I didn't see it, I just saw him walking off afterwards. It's rugby at the end of the day there's going to be a lot of bumps and bruises. I didn't see it myself."
