Liam Gallagher fumes at Matt Hancock's survival of another vote as Babatúndé Aléshé leaves I'm a Celebrity

Oasis legend Liam Gallagher has fumed over the latest exit from ITV's I'm a Celebrity as the fifth star left the jungle camp. Gallagher, like most of the telly-watching public saw comedian Babatúndé Aléshé voted out of the jungle while former health secretary and serving MP Matt Hancock remained.

The singer threw his support behind the exiting comedian and most definitely did not mince his words over Hancock remaining in the I'm a Celeb camp. Gallagher wrote on Twitter: "F**k off love baba Tunde can’t live in a world where Tw*t Hancock still pulling the wool."

Babatúndé, who has recently been seen on Celebrity Gogglebox alongside fellow comic and friend, Mo Gilligan, is fifth to leave the camp after Boy George, Sue Cleaver, Scarlette Douglas and Charlene White.

The West Suffolk MP caused controversy by signing up to appear on the show, not only is he still a serving MP but he was busted for breaking Covid guidance in his ministerial office and having an affair with now partner, Gina Colangelo.

But while the Oasis legend was gutted to see the comedian leave the show, Babatúndé himself wasn't so sad, saying he enjoyed his time in the jungle but "needed his freedom back" and was ready to leave. He also accidentally chucked his Champagne everywhere immediately after leaving camp when joining Ant and Dec and had to be given a fresh glass. Read more on that, here.
