Lewis Capaldi has pulled out of his Leeds Festival headline appearance after telling fans he will be taking a step back from music.

Fans helped Lewis through his Glastonbury performance on Saturday evening as he faced challenges caused by his Tourette's 'ticks'. Since the scenes were screened on the BBC, Lewis has received support from fans from all across the world.

The singer-songwriter, known for songs including Forget Me and Before You Go, has issued a statement informing fans he will be taking a step back.
