Ayrshire’s largest estate agent has expanded into Kilmarnock.
Lomond Property opened its new John Finnie Street branch in the town centre yesterday.
The new branch compliments already successful operations in Prestwick and Irvine.
Craig Robertson, director at Lomond Property, said: "We are delighted to be opening a base in East Ayrshire and even more pleased to have been able to secure such a fantastic spot.
"Of all the regions in Ayrshire, East Ayrshire is the largest in terms of households, volume of sales and population therefore in order for to us fully and successfully service the people of East Ayrshire we felt it was important to have a base within the major market town of Kilmarnock.
"The town offers a great mix of affordable properties for purchase or let, modern developments, and very near the town centre streets are avenues full of impressive sandstone villas and bungalows. There is something for everyone, every family, every lifestyle.
"The neighbouring villages of Kilmaurs, Stewarton and Dunlop provide a fantastic opportunity to anyone looking for a rural living yet with a degree of convenience including a range of fantastic amenities on the doorstep."
A new branch will continue to offer estate agency service including selling, buying or letting properties, as well as financial services in partnership with Envoy Financial.
Lomond Property also announced the news of becoming the lead sponsor of CentreStage in Kilmarnock, in their production of 9 to 5 The Musical which will take place from Thursday, June 22 until Saturday, June 24.
Craig said: "With us opening a new branch of our Estate Agency coinciding perfectly with the CentreStage production, we thought it was a great opportunity for us to support them financially with sponsorship together with the hope of building a longer term relationship where can possibly provide ongoing support on further projects.
"The leadership team at Lomond believe it is extremely important to engage with the local communities where we operate from sponsoring events, providing advice to young people looking to forge a career in the property industry and getting involved with schools in supporting their regular events such as The Glenburn Primary School Fete, which we recently provided support for.
