Let’s Rock Leeds will be welcoming a host of 80s music legends to this summer’s big retro festival at Temple Newsam.
The line up for Let’s Rock Leeds: The Retro Festival 2022 will include household names such as Wet Wet Wet, Billy Ocean, Nick Heyward, Go West, Nik Kershaw and many others. The big nostalgic outdoor party will be happening on Saturday, June 25.
Others appearing will be Bad Manners, Belinda Carlisle, Scritti Politti and Johnny Hates Jazz. If you love 80s music then this will be the event in Leeds for you.

Some of the stars appearing have spoken about what they love about appearing at the annual Let’s Rock. Go West said: “The Let’s Rock crowds are among the best we’ve ever played for. They always make us feel so welcome and are full of enthusiasm and energy - we feel that onstage and it fires us up.”
Graeme Clark, from Wet Wet Wet, said: “Let’s Rock was our first gig back after locking down started, we were in uncertain times then. It’s always special to be able to play music to a crowd, but this was extra special as it was our first attended gig for a couple of years so the emotions were running high. Combine that with the crowd, emotive music and the feelings can be overwhelming.”
As well as the music there will be lots of family fun lined up. There will also be bars and food stalls so those attending can make a full day of it.
Let’s Rock organisers Nick Billinghurst and Matt Smith said: “We’ve been humbled by the loyalty and passion of the Let’s Rock family who have stuck with us through what has been an incredibly challenging couple of years. We’re so excited to be back with a full summer of shows in 2022 with what we believe is our best ever line up. We genuinely can’t wait to see you all there.”
