A TikTok trend has brought together normally competing online fandoms in a mock truce centred on the Australian animated film Lesbian Space Princess, with users temporarily setting aside their rivalries to make fun of the movie.
The trend, referred to online as the 'Great Fandom Truce of 2026,' emerged in August after the 2025 film gained renewed attention on social media. Memes typically show characters from opposing fandoms extending a hand to one another before joining forces, often accompanied by the phrase 'Just this once.'
