Starting linebacker Leo Chenal was listed on the Kansas City Chiefs’ injury report this week with a shoulder issue ahead of the defending champions’ AFC West showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, October 27.

Though Chenal was listed with a shoulder injury, he managed to fully participate in all of Kansas City’s practices this week and should be available for the Chiefs’ Week 8 matchup against Las Vegas.
How long will Leo Chenal be out?
Chenal isn’t expected to miss time due to this injury, though an unforeseen setback before kickoff on Sunday could limit his availability in Week 8.
Chiefs LB depth chart
The Chiefs don’t have an exceptionally deep linebacker corps, and the loss of Chenal would be difficult for Kansas City to overcome. At outside linebacker specifically, only Cam Jones is listed behind Chenal on the Chiefs’ depth chart, though veteran Cole Christiansen could also step in to fill his void.
