Cody Drameh: Took his goal very well, venturing forward to bag Leeds’ fifth and he seemed to enjoy himself once more at right-back. 8
Morten Spencer: A learning night for the youngster as he was embroiled in a physical battle with Paul Lewis. 6

Kris Moore: Looked more comfortable than his centre-half partner but will still have taken plenty from the contest. 6
Harvey Sutcliffe: Had some bright moments in the left-back spot and even took the captain’s armband in the second half. 7
Darko Gyabi: Had a hand in both Gelhardt’s goals in the first half before setting up Drameh for Leeds’ fifth. Seemed to thrive in midfield before being dropped into defence when Leeds were reduced to 10 men. 8
Sam Greenwood: Got stuck in and had some bright moments on the ball but he was sent for an early shower in the second half after hacking down the Tranmere man. 6
Wilfried Gnonto: Lively from the off and showed his class with some smart touches. Had a big role in Joseph’s goal, spotting the space and finding Greenwood with a quick free-kick. 8
Joe Gelhardt: Left out by Jesse Marsch on Sunday, Gelhardt gave the head coach a reminder of his abilities with two first-half goals against the League Two side. 8
Sonny Perkins: Bagged his obligatory goal to bring Leeds back into the picture when they were 2-0 down in the first-half. Showed his strength and ability on the ball and helped set up a couple of goals. 8
Mateo Joseph: Held onto his title of Leeds U21s top scorer with a second half effort. He captained the side and showed his maturity and strength with his play on the ball. 8
Alfie McCalmont (Perkins 72): Helped Leeds see out the result after the red card. 6
James Debayo (Spencer 79): Slotted into a back five and handled everything Tranmere threw at him. 6
Amari Miller (Joseph 79): Tried to get himself around the field but couldn’t make much an impact. 6
