Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Wednesday, 19 October.
King race
Leeds United are now set to face Bundesliga competition for the signing of Rangers defender Leon King, according to Football Insider. They claim that Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt have joined Leeds, Newcastle and Manchester United in the race for the 18-year-old ahead of the January transfer window.
The Premier League trio have already sent scouts to watch King in action in the Champions League for Rangers this season, who he has played every game in the competition for. King has also featured six times in the Scottish Premiership during the 2022/23 campaign but is set for a big decision on his future in the coming months with his contract set to expire at Ibrox in 2024 and interest circulating.
Mudryk price
The price of reported Leeds United target Mykhaylo Mudryk is continuing to rise after a string of fine performances in the Champions League for Shakhtar Donetsk this season. Leeds, along with Arsenal and Everton, have been linked with a move for Mudryk, who is currently one of Ukraine's brightest young talents.

According to Fabrizio Romano, his price tag has soared in the last couple of months, already rising around €20 million since the summer. Speaking to Caught Offside, Romano said: “I continue to enjoy watching the development of Mykhaylo Mudryk. His performances in the Champions League this season have been amazing!
“He’s a player whose value has most likely shot up since the summer. Shakhtar Donetsk wanted around €50m (£43.5m) for him in August, probably €40m plus add-ons were enough. Today, I’m sure they want way more than €50m for their star, it could probably be as high as €60-65m (£52.3-56.7m).”
