Leeds United supporters have wasted no time in sending the Whites hierarchy a warning after Rodrigo was forced off the field against Everton with a shoulder injury. The Spaniard has been one of the standout performers for Jesse Marsch's side this season, with a four goals and one assist to his name.
The 31-year-old is enjoying the best stint of his Elland Road career and the injury, although not yet confirmed, could rule him out for the upcoming fixtures. Patrick Bamford's return from injury could ease the burden, but Joe Gelhardt was given the nod tonight against the Toffees.
The Whites have been trying to bolster their front line with the likes of Charles De Ketelaere linked to Elland Road. However, they missed out on the Belgian and the injury to Rodrigo will serve as a timely reminder to the Leeds hierarchy.
