Leeds United supporters were disappointed to another largely positive performance account to nothing after watching their side succumb to a late defeat at Elland Road. Bitter rivals Manchester United scored twice late on to sink the Whites and move up to second in the Premier League.
Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho produced the goods to snatch all three points and stun the home crowd. The defeat leaves Leeds hovering just one point above the relegation zone - despite playing one game more than Everton. Another frustrating afternoon saw the Whites' frontline struggle to make an impact.
Failing to convert their chances is proving to be the story of the season so far at Elland Road. A week ago, another blank at Nottingham Forest ultimately resulted in Jesse Marsch losing his job.

Post-match reaction on social media was feisty as fears about a possible return to the Championship heightened. Two games without a manager, while embroiled in a relegation fight, is beginning to take its toll, with fans urging the owners to ramp up their search for a new boss.
This is how Leeds supporters reacted to the 2-0 defeat on social media.
@LeedsWoody1919: Get a new manager
@OgradyDanny: Didn’t deserve two nil, played well for most of it but again not taking our chances has cost us. Intensity was there but lost it a bit when Harrison and Bamford came off I think.
@EastStandUpper: Quality in the last third… that’s the difference today. We’ve been tenacious, pretty disciplined and caused them some problems, but we just haven’t been able to turn decent openings into clear enough chances. Missed Roca and Rodrigo.
@usmntclip: Have you finally realised the problem was never the manager? Players still can’t finish in front of goal and defenders still make the same mistakes
@mrtull1: Quality manager required. We're definitely not far off being decent...
@SuperLeeds1Mot: Definitely didn’t deserve to lose that but again no points and we’re in deep deep trouble
@LUFCThommo: New manager please! Long term and pronto! Daydreaming our way to the bottom three!
