Leeds United supporters have questioned the board's reported interest in bringing former Ajax head coach Alfred Schreuder in as the club's new manager.
Schreuder was seen by LeedsLive at Elland Road for the 2-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday afternoon. The Dutchman is the odds-on favourite to replace Jesse Marsch after the American was sacked more than a week ago.
Michael Skubala, alongside Chris Armas and Paco Gallardo, has led the team while the search for a new permanent head coach continues. Arne Slot and Adoni Iraola have both been linked with the top job at Leeds, yet Feyenoord and Rayo Vallecano were not willing to let either coach leave halfway through their respective seasons.

Schreuder is without a club after he was relieved of his duties with Ajax following a six-month spell in charge of the Dutch side, after Erik ten Hag's move to Manchester United. With a critical game against Everton on the weekend, the board will be desperate to have someone in place well in advance of the game to get themselves up to speed ahead of the trip to Goodison Park.

Whether that man is Schreuder is still yet to be seen, but Leeds supporters have now had their say on the possibility of the 50-year-old taking charge at Elland Road:
@Whitesfan : "February is a bad time to be looking for a coach. A coach who is interested in the job is always good start. He might not be an ideal choice for many and has a mixed track record but has been at big clubs and may be good enough to do the job required. Hopefully, it's his Brugge win rate of 71% that he'd bring with him."
@STEFROACH74: "I’m more concerned with his 46% win rate at a club like Ajax, no wins in last 7 games. Hardly bringing a winning mentality in a club in dire need of some. Very worrying if this is the best we can get."
@AndyDickson1: "Get big Sam for the rest of the season and then appoint someone long term in the summer."
@Chammy11: "Given that he was supposedly spotted in the East Stand, I really hope that Schreuder was only at the match as a guest of Ten Hag. His CV is poor and an appointment would be an act of desperation."
@Manu8er: "Nooooo his record as a manager is dreadful."
@DudleyEdwards1: "Stick with Skubala until after Everton and Southampton games. If we can't beat them that's the time to make a quick decision."
@PsychicPsal: "Rather have Gerrard. At least he had some success."
@BMG: "I'd never heard of him but have yet to hear a positive comment about this. I'd rather keep the three musketeers until we get someone who can at least keep us up. Who knows what the real news is but it's starting to feel desperate now."
@Markieboy211: "This is desperate stuff now. So fresh from being a flop at Ajax, they think he can keep us in the Premier League? No chance. I can't believe the hierarchy didn't have someone lined up to replace Marsch. They got it very right when they appointed Bielsa, but they've got it very wrong since they sacked him."
