With the wind in their sails, the underdogs capitalised on the momentum to dump Brazil out of the World Cup. Argentina later progressed against the Netherlands via spot-kicks to blow the competition wide open.
Former Whites winger Raphinha endured a difficult World Cup for the Selecao. Despite starting all but one of their five fixtures, the 25-year-old failed to bag a goal or register an assist.

His indifferent form mirrors that at Barcelona since his big-money move in the summer. Astonishingly, Raphinha has only completed a full 90 minutes once for the Catalan giants.
That is a far cry from the talismanic status he enjoyed in Yorkshire, revelling as one of the standout performers under Marcelo Bielsa. Eye-catching displays on the right flank saw talk of a potential move dominate the transfer agenda at Elland Road.
After the game, some Leeds fans went as far to suggest the Brazilian has been “ruined” in Spain. A deep stable of talent means he is not an automatic starter at the Nou Camp.
Others felt sorry for a player who produced some of the most memorable moments in a white shirt in recent years.
