Leeds United's Sonny Perkins has been named the Premier League 2's Player of the Month for his sensational August performances for the Whites Under 21s.
The 18-year-old forward arrived at Elland Road this summer from West Ham United, and has been in eye catching form for the young Whites so far this season.
Perkins bagged five goals in four games in the PL2, and managed to beat out teammate Mateo Joseph, who also scored five, to claim the August award.

And the starlet looks set to make his first appearance at Elland Road on Friday evening when Leeds U21s take on Southampton.
This summer saw Leeds opt to supplement their major first team signings with a number of promising young prospects.
In Perkins, Darko Gyabi and Wilfried Gnonto, Leeds have secured the signings of three incredibly promising talents, who if nurtured, could go on to become impressive players for the Whites in the years to come.
