Leeds United see back-to-back Premier League fixtures moved for live TV coverage

Leeds United have seen back-to-back Premier League fixtures rescheduled ahead of their return to top-flight action this month.

Jesse Marsch's side currently find themselves sitting only two points above the relegation zone in 15th, with a vital winter period awaiting the Whites.

The toughest of starts lie ahead when Leeds recommence their campaign and play host to reigning Champions Manchester City at Elland Road.

And now fans are likely to be frustrated by hearing the news that two of their February kick-offs will be rescheduled after the Premier League announced which games have been selected for live television coverage.

Leeds' trip to the City Ground face Nottingham Forest had, initially, been pencilled in to take place on Saturday, February, 4th. However, it will now kick off the following day at 14:00 and be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

A second 14:00 Sunday kick-off lies ahead the following weekend, as they welcome fierce rivals Manchester United to Elland Road. That fixture had, also, been originally expected to take place on Saturday, February, 11th, but is now scheduled to kick-off on Sunday, 12th, February at 14:00. Sky Sports will, again, show it live.

Such news may not be greeted warmly, especially after Leeds saw their FA Cup trip to Cardiff City also rearranged to align with TV listings.

Below is a list of the two February fixture changes:

Sunday, 5, February

14:00 - Nottingham Forest v Leeds (Sky Sports)

Sunday, 12, February

14:00 - Leeds v Man Utd (Sky Sports)
