Leeds United will kick start a run of games against their Premier League relegation rivals that could prove season defining. The Whites take on Everton this weekend and a win would put them four points clear of the Toffees in the relegation zone.
Defeat to Sean Dyche's men would put them in serious trouble and hand the Blues a psychological advantage heading into latter part of the season. Defeat to Nottingham Forest saw the Reds move clear of Leeds, which would cost Jesse Marsch his job.
The departure of the American has seen Michael Skubula take the reins and there have been signs of progress from their two outings against Manchester United. The Leeds hierarchy have made the decision to give the Under-21s boss the upcoming fixtures, giving them time to appoint a permanent manager.

The club has been reportedly turned down by Andoni Iraola, Arne Slot and Carlos Corberan, but a positive result against the Toffees would give Skubula and his side a much needed boost. Leeds have not won since November and face Southampton on the back of the trip to Goodison Park.
Three points against both relegation rivals could see them move seven points clear of the bottom three, if results were to go there way elsewhere. Leeds face Chelsea and Brighton in March before taking on fellow strugglers Wolves at the end of the month.
The trip to Molineux Is another must win game, but they've been resurgent on recent weeks. The three aforementioned games against sides around them could prove vital in staying in the top flight.
If Skubula is able to pick up important points, it could also boost his chances in taking the job on a permanent basis, should the opportunity arise. The Whites have made it clear their early intentions have been to bring in an experienced manager but may have to wait until the summer.
