Here are the latest Leeds United morning headlines on Tuesday, March 1.
Wright-Phillips details what Marsch will bring to Leeds
Like Marcelo Bielsa, Marsch is a coach who is highly regarded by the players and staff he has worked with previously.
He too has a very clear ethos of what he demands from his players, a style that has many similarities to that of his predecessor.
Shaun Wright-Phillips, who played for the American during the pair’s time at New York Red Bulls has explained how he is the ideal replacement.
“I think he’s a good fit for Leeds in general because his press is pretty similar in a way to Bielsa’s,” he told the Monday Night Club podcast on BBC 5 Live.
“He just doesn’t allow his players to end up vacating certain areas of the pitch and leaving big gaps, which in the Premier League with the quality that’s there can be exploited.
“He has a philosophy that Leeds fans can get behind. Everything with him is similar to Bielsa, he doesn’t want anything but hard work.”
Marsch reveals ‘massive’ Bielsa admiration
After being announced as Marcelo Bielsa’s replacement, Jesse Marsch has already looked to establish a rapport with the Leeds supporters.
Everyone involved with the club knows what a tough job it will be to replace the departed Argentine but the new man is doing everything he can to smooth the transition.
In an interview with Sky Sports, he said: "First, my respect for Marcelo Bielsa is massive. I've watched him for years. He has such a unique playing style.
“A lot of the things I believe in football and my principles are similar to things he likes and he does. And I've followed very popular managers almost everywhere I've gone and I know there are challenges to that.
"I respect totally their loyalty to Marcelo Bielsa. You don't see many fan bases like that around the world that have committed to a manager in such a way.”

Orta explains Marsch appointment
The decision to relieve Bielsa of his duties at Elland Road is one considered by many fans as inconceivable and one they are still coming to terms with.
However, it seems the ultimate plan was to replace the 66-year-old with Marsch at the end of the season anyway, a call that has been brought forward a few months as a result of the poor Premier League form.
It was something Victor Orta would have thought long and hard about and in his first interview since making the decision, he said: “We are delighted to welcome Jesse to the club and excited for him to lead us into this new chapter.
“Jesse is someone we identified a number of years ago during his time at Red Bull Salzburg and we believe his philosophy and style of football aligns with that of the club and will suit the players very well.
“We have a long-term plan and firmly believe he can take Leeds United to the next level and are excited for what the future holds.”
