Here are your latest Leeds United evening headlines for Friday, January 20.
Relegation rivals Nottingham Forest strengthen with loan signing of Chris Wood
Nottingham Forest have strengthened their attacking ranks with the signing of former Leeds United striker Chris Wood from Newcastle United.
The New Zealand international has joined Forest on loan until the end of the season, and the deal includes an option to make the transfer permanent until 2024.

Wood had been linked with a return to Elland Road, but Leeds instead purchased club record signing Georginio Rutter from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.
The Reds are three points above Leeds having played a game more, and will host Jesse Marsch's side at the City Ground on February 5, their next Premier League fixture following this weekend's clash against Brentford.
Wood only joined Newcastle from Burnley for £25 million in January 2022, but is behind both Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak in the pecking order at St James' Park.
Jesse Marsch offers Leeds United update on Joe Gelhardt amid Wigan Athletic loan reports
Jesse Marsch has revealed that Joe Gelhardt trained with Leeds United on Friday amid reports that he is close to re-joining Championship outfit Wigan Athletic.
Gelhardt is considering a return to the DW Stadium on a loan deal until the end of the season, according to The Athletic. The 20-year-old has struggled for game time under Marsch this season so far - amassing just 202 minutes of action in the Premier League.
The arrival of club record signing Georginio Rutter from Hoffenheim, coupled with the return of Patrick Bamford from injury will further reduce his chances of featuring in the first team. However, Marsch has confirmed that Gelhardt is still training with the club despite the uncertainty surrounding his immediate future.
Jesse March provides Leeds United injury details ahead of Brentford clash
Jesse Marsch has given an update on the fitness of several Leeds United players ahead of his side's clash with Brentford on Sunday afternoon. Earlier this week, the Whites dominated Cardiff City in a 5-2 win in their F.A Cup third round replay but saw new signing Max Wober go off injured.
The Austrian lasted just 57 minutes before a collision with a Bluebirds player meant he was replaced by Luke Ayling and joined captain Liam Cooper and centre-back partner Robin Koch as defenders who are suffering minor injuries ahead of this weekend. Long-term injury holders Stuart Dallas and Archie Gray have made progress, while Crysencio Summerville has been missing since the first Cardiff tie with an ankle injury.
Having been out since October, Luis Sinisterra finally returned to Elland Road football on Tuesday night as well, and is someone that Marsch is delighted to have back as an option in his new-and-improved attacking core after Georginio Rutter was announced as the side's second signing of the transfer window last week.
