Jesse Marsch 'turns down' Leicester City
Former Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has reportedly turned down the chance to join relegation rivals Leicester City for the rest of the season.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the deal for the American to become the new Foxes manager is now '100 per cent over'. It was previously reported that Marsch was set to take charge at the King Power Stadium with virtually just the paperwork left to sign.

Romano now states that the former Leeds man was not 'fully convinced' and that he is no longer accepting the role despite talks being in an advanced position. This would be the second time that Marsch has reportedly turned down the chance to coach one of Leeds' relegation rivals having previously been linked with the top job at Southampton following the departure of Nathan Jones.
Leeds United traded one double anxiety for another after brittle Jekyll and Hyde debacle
Here are our five talking points from Leeds United's 5-1 loss to Crystal Palace at Elland Road in the Premier League as Patrick Bamford scores what proved to be a consolation on a chastening day
Jekyll and Hyde
Leeds United have not lost a Premier League game from a leading position since their trip to Tottenham Hotspur on the last weekend before the World Cup break. That afternoon in the capital was a chaotic, frantic affair synonymous with so many games during Jesse Marsch’s tenure.
That game ebbed and flowed before the implosion which took Leeds from leading 3-2 in the 76th minute to trailing it 4-3 seven minutes later. It was the kind of collapse fans hoped they would not see topped in 2022/23 and yet it was only the tame precursor to what played out on Sunday afternoon.
This was an afternoon of Jekyll and Hyde proportions. It was the archetypal tale of two halves, except Jekyll was limited to one goal while Hyde abandoned all common sense, resilience and the ability to tackle an opponent.

Every word Javi Gracia said on Leeds United's defeat, Ayling, dressing room words, his challenge
Javi, obviously a very difficult moment for you, what happened, how do you explain that collapse in a second half?
I cannot explain because I think we played a very good first half. It’s true that conceding the goal before the half time it changed a little bit the game. But in that half time, we tried to improve the things that in the first half we didn't do well, like try to defend better set-pieces, corner kicks, free-kick, to be more solid in that action. To keep doing the things we did really well in first half, because in the first half, we were solid defending we were in good distances to defend, being compact, creating chances, many shots, many shots on target. The feeling was good. I think it was our moment, it was the moment when we could kill the game.
After the second half was tough, very tough for us because we were conceding goals. We were not so aggressive. We were soft in many actions. After that is difficult to defend players like Palace has because in with distances they are very good. Then it was hard for us.
It felt after half-time like all the energy had gone. You pressed them so hard and they looked a bit shell shocked, like there was a lethargy about the team. Would that be fair?
I think that team has competed really well in all the games in my opinion, winning, losing, drawing. In all the games we've competed well and the most part of them we deserve the result we got or maybe even better. Today, the first half was good, really good in my opinion and we deserve something more but in the second we didn't keep the level, we didn't keep the same level than all the other games before then. We have to learn something from today. We have to learn that when we are playing whether we are doing our 100% we are able to beat anyone, if we don't do it, you know what can happen.
