Here are your Leeds United evening headlines on Tuesday, January 31.
Everton in for Nicolo Zaniolo?
Reports coming out of Italy seem to indicate that Everton are trying to swoop in for AS Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo, who has been the subject of late speculation linking him with Leeds United.
After sacking Frank Lampard last week and bringing in Sean Dyche, the Toffees are believed to be 'scrambling' to sign the 23-year-old in a bid to save themselves from relegation.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercatio (via Inside Futbol), Dyche's side have made an enquiry for Zaniolo after selling forward Anthony Gordon to Newcastle United for £45 million.
'Elland Road is dope' - Weston McKennie excited ahead of blockbuster Leeds United home debut
Weston McKennie has hailed his move to Leeds United as a "dream come true" after admitting that he is already looking forward to walking out at Elland Road for the first time.
Leeds finalised a move for McKennie on Monday evening that sees him arrive on an initial loan with the option to make the deal permanent. Supporters will get the chance to see their new signing in action this weekend when the Whites take on Nottingham Forest.
A trip to Old Trafford comes shortly after meaning that McKennie will not get to experience playing at Elland Road as a Leeds player until February 12 - against bitter rvials Manchester United once again. Regardless of how long he has to wait, the American made it clear that he was excited to have the opportunity to play in front of the home crowd.

Leeds United's patient Diogo Monteiro plan clear amid Wilfried Gnonto similarities
The arrival of Diogo Monteiro at Leeds United drew obvious comparisons. The 18-year-old defender was unveiled at Elland Road on deadline day, penning a three-and-a-half-year deal with the club to complete his switch from Servette of the Swiss Super League.
That’s the same league Wilfried Gnonto was playing in prior to his switch to the Whites on the summer deadline day and the attacker’s rise in recent months has been a joy to behold. As such, it’s easy to point to the Italian forward’s success when welcoming Monteiro to West Yorkshire.
However, it would be unfair to expect the same sort of rapid progress to be made by Leeds’ new man as he settles into life at Elland Road. Despite moving to Leeds at the same age, Gnonto had the experience of 74 first-team appearances under his belt while playing for FC Zurich.
