Hopeful as Jesse Marsch is about injuries to Luis Sinisterra and Adam Forshaw, the former’s hamstring problem is frustrating because it’s reflective of the training Leeds United have done. The pair limped off in the first half of Friday’s draw with Crystal Palace in Perth.
Sinisterra was left clutching his hamstring after a small amount of contact at close quarters with a Crystal Palace player. The Colombian received some treatment, but was ultimately taken off by Marsch.
Forshaw had taken several whacks through the opening portion of the match, but he was able to come off the pitch under his own steam. Jean-Philippe Mateta was accused of being the instigator of the midfielder’s knee issue.

“Luis Sinisterra had a little hamstring injury,” he said. “We're hopeful it's not too much or too long or too severe. Any time we have a hamstring injury, I'm totally dissatisfied because that's reflective of everything we do with them physically.
“We'll evaluate that and we hope it's not so bad. And then Adam Forshaw had Mateta lean on him a little bit and tweaked his knee. We're hopeful as well that one's not so bad, but we'll get more information on it in the next days.”
These developments see Leeds departing Australia with that pair and Liam Cooper nursing injuries and Cody Drameh not fit enough to be in Friday’s squad.
