Leeds United and the FA Cup are a combination which has not enjoyed the best of relationships in recent years. Leeds have not won an FA Cup third-round game since the 2016/17 season and it's been a story of uninspiring draws and even less inspiring performances on their way to an early exit.
It's 20 years since the Whites last reached the sixth-round stage of the competition and the hope will be that can change this season with Jesse Marsch overseeing a cup run that gives the supporters something to get excited about.
If Leeds are to put a cup run together, it will start un Wales following the third round draw this evening at Anfield, which saw the club drawn away at Cardiff City. The Welsh side are currently struggling at the wrong end of the Championship table but will fancy an upset.
