Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford has shared a heartfelt image on Instagram after he became a dad for the first time.
The England international and his partner, Michaela Ireland, have welcomed their first child to the family and there has been plenty of love for him from Leeds fans on social media.
This was after Marcelo Bielsa revealed that Bamford hasn't made any progress on the foot issue he picked up before the FA Cup trip to West Ham United last month.
Bamford has made just six Premier League appearances this season, scoring three times and he has been a major miss for the Whites throughout the campaign.
Leeds have scored just 24 goals in 21 games this term and Bamford, who has been out with a hamstring, ankle and foot injury, will be eager to return to action as soon as possible.
It's been a frustrating season for Bamford, but he has at least recieved some positive news with the birth of his child after he posted an image on Monday morning.
Bamford shared a photo of him holding the baby on his Instagram story with three love heart emojis.
This has excited some Leeds supporters on Twitter, with the vast majority congratulating him for becoming a father, while another admitted it was 'lovely'.
Here is what some had to say on social media.
