Leeds United fans make Rodrigo call as Marcelo Bielsa makes two changes for Newcastle clash

Marcelo Bielsa has made two changes to the Leeds United side that defeated West Ham 3-2 at the London Stadium last weekend.

Diego Llorente and Rodrigo Moreno are the two players to come into the Whites' starting XI, with Junior Firpo and Adam Forshaw both dropping out due to hamstring injuries.

That means Daniel James is again set to start in a central striker role, despite the return of both Joe Gelhardt and Tyler Roberts to the squad.

Stuart Dallas, who was excellent last week against the Hammers, is set to play at left-back, while Luke Ayling will revert to his more familiar right-back spot after playing in the centre of defence in recent weeks.

Robin Koch is also set to continue in a holding midfield role, with Mateusz Klich, Raphinha and Jack Harrison all also starting.

Here is how Leeds fans are reacting to the team news.

@THELUFCLAD: “Rodrigo been class in every game against Newcastle so far, glad he’s starting.”

@superlufc1919: “Strong team this!! Can see Gelhardt coming on to consolidate the win!”

@Ash_LUFC_: “Knew Rodrigo would start. Big game for him today against a dodgy defence. Hopefully he can get a goal.”

@leedsinfidel: “Nice, much stronger today and James through the channels can cause them problems.”

@AntDickinson: “Decent line-up that is all things considered. Feeling confident enough in a win. Hope to get to see some more Joffy action.”

@Crowther9195: “That’s a good-looking team. I won’t say today will be easy. Massive push for another win lads, it’s needed so let’s get it done.”

@BruceTheBadCat: “Oh jeez… that midfield is petrifying… I love Rodrigo but he doesn’t offer any protection to defence, and gives the ball away through ambitious flick-ons and cross field passes more than I can count in a game…”

@brianyoneill: “Decent line-up that now for the win lads so we can really start looking up the table.”

@LeagueLeeds: “Literally our best CB pairing, I won’t hear any different.”

@BayDecs: “Dallas should be in midfield with Hjelde at left back.”
