Eight years after their last visit to Norway, Leeds United will return to the Scandinavian stronghold for a pre-season friendly with Manchester United this summer. The Whites will play the Red Devils on Wednesday, July 12 at 5pm local time in Oslo's Ullevaal Stadium.
More pre-season dates and friendlies will be announced in due course, the club has said.
Speaking about the announcement, executive director Paul Bell said: “We are really pleased to have secured this fixture against Manchester United, especially for the Leeds United fans in Norway.

“The Leeds United Supporters Club of Scandinavia (LUSCOS) has over 8,000 members, many of whom regularly travel over to England to see Leeds United play at home and away, so everyone is looking forward to the experience of playing in Oslo.”
Tickets in the designated Leeds United section will only be available to purchase via the club's official online ticketing site tickets.leedsunited.com. Match tickets will go on sale online on Friday, May 26 at 1pm (BST) to Leeds United season ticket holders and members.
Tickets will be limited to one ticket per supporter and issued on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are priced at 1075 NOK (around £79).
