Leeds Rhinos star Ash Handley has made a public appeal after his car was stolen. Handley, one of the Rhinos' standout players in 2022, took to social media on Wednesday morning to reveal that his car had been taken from his house last night, and was making an urgent appeal to anyone who could help retrieve the vehicle.
Handley posted on Instagram: "Car stolen from my house last night. LS15 area. Message me if you have seen anything. Please share". The LS15 area of Leeds contains areas such as Cross Gates, Temple Newsam and Killingbeck.
Handley's post was shared by several of his Leeds Rhinos team-mates. The likes of Zak Hardaker also took to Instagram to ask anyone who has any details about the vehicle to message Handley - with the appeal coming on the morning of another must-win game for the Rhinos.
