A Leeds man who was arrested following a car crash which resulted in the death of an 18-year-old woman has been released under investigation.
Georgia Bendelow, who was 18 and from Leeds, sadly passed away in hospital following the collision involving a white BMW M3 and a red Seat Mii on the A63 Selby Road. The driver of the BMW, a 32-year-old man also from Leeds, who was arrested following the collision.
Georgia, who was a passenger in the Mii, suffered serious injuries in the collision, which occurred in Swillington Common at about 6.40pm on Wednesday, August 31. The BMW had travelled from Crossgates and was heading in the direction of Garforth when the collision occurred.

West Yorkshire Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses, or anyone who may have DashCam footage of either vehicle prior to the collision, to contact them via 101 quoting reference 13220480915 or online via the live chat facility.
