A Leeds grandmother spoke of her fears and concern for her four grandchildren after a gun was discovered yards away from her home after a dramatic car crash.
A large police cordon remains in place in Church Street, Armley following the dramatic 4x4 crash which led to two men being arrested on firearms offences. A 35-year-old man was arrested last night after attending a police station, and a 28-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of this morning.
Cordons have surrounded Church Road and Chapel Lane since 3.25pm on Monday (August 22.) This came after two addresses were raided in Beeston and Wortley.

Grandmother-of-four Linda Petty, who has lived nearby for 11 years, said: "We have the grandchildren here . Obviously we are concerned for their safety and everyone's, including our good selves."
She says she heard reports of a man running across the graveyard on St Bartholomew, Armley and New Wortley church with a suitcase after the crash, which is close to her house.
Linda added: "This is where I walk my dog. I don't like the idea of a man like that being around where people and children relax and play in the park."
Nearby resident Nisar Ahmed, 45, has had his car stuck behind the crime scene cordon for two days and says his wife was coming out of the car at the time of the incident.
He claims she heard gunfire and decided to stay in the car and wait for the incident to end. The father of two said: "It is shocking and stressful, especially when a loved one is near. I'm concerned about public safety. Luckily no one was hurt."
Both arrested men remain in custody on suspicion of firearms offences and affray. Another 29-year-old man, who was arrested on Monday, has been charged with multiple gun offences.
