Leeds grandad invents the 'next Wordle' and says he is 'UK's oldest app creator'

Obsessed with word games for decades, Graham Jaggers decided it was time he created one himself.

The 74-year-old grandad from Leeds decided to create an app to play an old word game he used to play at school. It was called 'Donkey' and the objective was to make a word as long as possible by adding one letter at a time.

If you got to the end of the word you would lose, so the objective was to try to keep extending the word while making sure you are not knocked out next. He developed the game himself over a year and a half.
