Leeds drivers warned as Crown Point Road to be shut over two weekends

A key road from Leeds Dock towards Leeds city centre will be closed over two consecutive weekends, drivers have been warned.

Crown Point Road will be closed from 8am to 6pm on Saturday March 25 and Sunday March 26 and again on Saturday April 1 and Sunday April 2. This will be at its junction with (A61) Great Wilson Street / Hunslet Road to Bowman Lane / Black Bull Street junctions to undertake carriageway resurfacing work.

Vehicles will not be allowed to use Crown Point Road whilst the road is closed. A full local diversion route for all traffic will be in place during this time. The route is for vehicles to travel via South Accommodation Road/East Street or Meadow Lane/Victoria Road/Great Wilson Street.
