A Leeds cocktail bar is getting in the summer spirit by giving away 500 free ice creams to members of the public. Slug and Lettuce on Great George Street will be rolling into town to give away the frozen sweet treats to promote their limited edition ice cream cocktails.
The Slug and Lettuce ice cream van will be touring the country heading to ten different towns. The van is set to appear in Leeds on August 27 from 12pm.
The first 30 people to show up will also receive goodie bags including makeup and QR codes to redeem a free summer cocktail at any Slug and Lettuce throughout the summer.

Four new cocktails will be on offer over Summer, called the Fab You Lous, Mag Yum, Slugero and Tongue Twister. All these cocktails are inspired by well-known ice creams.
The van will stop at 10 towns, including Bournemouth, Bristol, Reading, London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, York and Newcastle. Slug and Lettuce will also be reaising money for MND, the charity fighting motor neurone disease.
The free ice cream will be inspired by the brand's summer cocktails as well as a special one based on the famous Pornstar Martini.
